But it’s become very clear that Ford’s little boosted 3-pot is quite the star and, for almost anyone who does a normal mileage, by far the choice over a diesel-engined Focus.
Nissan has announced updates for the all-wheel-drive 2013 Nissan GT-R, which will go on sale in January 2012. Output is raised to a whopping 545 ponies, while torque grows to 463 lb-ft. Transmission feel and noise were tamed, and the suspension was retuned.

But now, with the Mazda 3 going on sale and due to arrive in the UK in January, Mazda has decided what it’s going to charge. The starting point for the new Mazda3 will be £16,695 for the 1.5 litre SKYACTIV-G petrol 100ps SE hatchback rising to £23,345 for the diesel 2.2-litre 150ps Sport Nav Auto hatchback.
